There are more than 6,000 contracts on offer for the London 2012 Games, and West Sussex–Ahead of the Game, is supporting businesses to find out what is on offer and how to bid for them.

Two free workshops are taking place in West Sussex, organised by Business Link:

‘Quality Management’.

Aimed at businesses who have registered on CompeteFor, the website where Games-related contract opportunities are published. This workshop helps firms to write a management statement, which is an essential requirement for bidding and winning a London 2012 contract. Attendees will write a draft statement and find out how it can help with all public sector contract bidding.

‘Advanced bid-writing’, looking in depth at the London 2012 and public sector procurement process.
