South African delegation views training camp facilities

K2 Crawley and the Gatwick Diamond Venues set out how they could help South Africa prepare for London 2012.

K2 Crawley and the Gatwick Diamond Venues have welcomed visitors from South Africa, interested in using the top-class facilities in the lead up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A delegation from the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee visited K2 Crawley. They viewed the swimming pool, athletics arena, gymnasium and main hall on a tour of facilities, and met representatives from other venues including East Grinstead Sports Club and Olympos Burgess Hill.

The delegation visited Crawley as part of a tour of London 2012 approved pre-games training camp venues - they were visiting a number of sites across England and Wales.
