Events across West Sussex confirmed for London 2012 Open Weekend

Take part on the 24 - 26 July 2009, and join in the 3-year countdown to the opening ceremony in 2012.

Organisations across West Sussex have pledged to `open up` on the weekend of Friday 24 - Sunday 26 July 2009, as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend, marking the 3 year countdown to the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in 2012.

The activities on offer will include leisure centre open days, family arts workshops, and special dance performances. The weekend will also feature the chance to meet Olympians and Paralympians with connections to the county, including Sascha Kindred, a gold medal winner at the Beijing Paralympics, who will be sharing his experiences at a number of venues.
