The event for young disabled people takes place at Olympos Burgess Hill next week.
The fourth Sussex Parallel Youth Games provide young disabled people from across Sussex with an opportunity to test their sporting skills and take part in competition.
This year will be the largest Games to date. Eighteen special schools from across Sussex have signed up to compete in the event and over 400 children, aged 11-18 years will compete in sports including Boccia, New Age Kurling, Swimming, Basketball, Tennis and Cricket.
Volunteer students from Chichester College, Imberhorne School, St. Paul’s Catholic College and Oathall Community College will be providing valuable assistance on the day.
The Games will again be hosted by Olympos Burgess Hill with the generous support of Mid Sussex District Council, who are providing the venue free of charge. Olympos Burgess Hill is one of ten West Sussex venues approved to host pre-games training camps in advance of the London 2012 Games.
The event is run by the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust, in partnership with The Co-operative Group.
